After a two-month postponement, the 2021 Oscar’s will finally be held this Sunday, April 25th, 2021. Director Steven (Contagion, Ocean’s Eleven) Soderbergh co-produces the first live, largely International (connecting with London and Paris, and NOT via Zoom) to boast the most diverse list of nominees in Oscar history.
Additionally, the ceremony promises to have “the aesthetic of a film as opposed to a TV show,” including use of movie-like “over-the-shoulder shots from within the audience” and high-resolution, widescreen formats, said Soderbergh.

This year will most certainly a game-changer. So, dress the part, pour yourself a glass of “a little sumpem-sumpem” and dream big! Enjoy yourself! It’s why we watch!
